Eight Great Free Crochet Kitchen Patterns

Summer is knocking on our door here in the United States as well as in many other parts of the world. This means people are going to be spending more time outdoors and looking for ways to stay cool.

For the crochet world, that means we are looking for smaller projects that will not get us blazing hot while crocheting ha ha. Quick and easy crochet patterns are the name of the game in the summertime.

That is why I wanted to share with you eight free kitchen patterns from various designers that you may enjoy making during the warmer crochet months.

Kitchen Pattern #1

If you want an easy way to spruce up your dinner table and have the easy-breezy-summer feeling, this "Ocean's Breath Table Decor" pattern by Crafting for Weeks is the perfect solution.

The pattern includes crochet instructions for both a placemat and table runner. It is a gorgeous set, isn't it? I love the simple touch of elegance that it adds to any dinner table. I am definitely going to try to make a set for my dining room this year!

Kitchen Pattern #2

If you want to add a little sparkle to your kitchen, I recommend this "Sparkly Crochet Dish Scrubby" pattern by CroChic Styles! I have never tried the Hobby Lobby Yarn Bee Scrubology Scrub It Yarn in Aqua that she used in this pattern, but I want to now! It's so pretty!

Kitchen Pattern #3

Who doesn't need a little decoration by their kitchen windows? A great way to dress up your window area by the sink is to include a hanging plant.

This "Suzette Crochet Hanging Basket" pattern by Made by Gootie is perfect for adding a little life to your daily dishwashing time. Plants are known for cleaning the air, so go ahead and get yourself a breath of fresh air with this pattern!

Kitchen Pattern #4

If farmhouse decor is the theme of your kitchen, then you will love this "Crochet Apple" pattern by Jen Hayes Creations. These will give your kitchen a nice crisp, summer-fresh feeling, and will look lovely in a little basket, on a countertop, or as a table centerpiece.

I don't know about you but just looking at these is making me crave a homemade apple pie ha ha! They have me thinking about 4th of July celebrations and the apple pie desserts with a scoop of ice cream.... yummy in my tummy!

Kitchen Pattern #5

The next couple of patterns will give you some great choices if you are looking to make a few different sets of coasters that you can switch out weekly or monthly. If you are like me and get bored easily and like changing things up frequently, I think you will enjoy these coaster patterns.

If you are looking for a little bit of sunshine to brighten up your home, you will probably enjoy these "Fun Summer Sunflower Coasters" by Hooked on Patterns.

Kitchen Pattern #6

If a simple, more traditional coaster look is what you are going for, then you will enjoy this next pattern.

Have you tried the Moss Stitch yet? This "Slanted Loop Coaster" pattern by Sweet Bee Crochet is the perfect project to explore this stitch. I love the subtle texture that is created and I think you will enjoy it, too.

Kitchen Pattern #7

If you want to be hands-free while wining-and-dining on your patio this summer, then I am certain you will enjoy this "Vineyard Lanyard" pattern by Through the Loop Yarn Craft.

Somehow I think I would turn this into a cup holder (with a lid of course) for my kids ha ha! Those little rascals will leave cups everywhere! Sometimes I think I should tape a cup to my kiddos ha ha... just kidding!

Kitchen Pattern #8

And last but not least, I couldn't go without mentioning my "Fruit Hammock" pattern!

Kitchen storage is the name of the game, and with this super easy fruit hammock pattern, you can have extra counter space by giving your fruit a place to hang out under your cabinets!

I hope you found some new great patterns in this round-up to try this summer. I know I am looking forward to sprucing up my kitchen with some of these great designs, and I hope this has helped give you some new ideas for your home too.

I look forward to sharing more great patterns with you, and so that you never miss out on a free pattern, make sure you are subscribed!

Cheers to summer and may many blessings find you and your family during this season of travel and backyard fun!
