Making Wooden Signs with Crochet Appliques

Updated: Dec 22, 2019

Many of us have a habit of buying a bunch of crochet applique patterns and then we do not know what to do with them but I am here to offer you a genius solution! Wooden signs!

You can use reclaimed wood to make a cute little sign on the cheap or you can find little wooden signs at your local crafts stores (including Walmart)!

In this short and sweet video tutorial I show you how I took my Orchid and Bee's Sleepy Koala Applique Pattern and made an adorable sign!

All I basically used was some scrap yarn, hot glue, and a wooden sign I found at Walmart for $2.27 and now I have an awesome gift or something I could sell at a craft fair for probably about $15! That is a nice little profit margin!

After I created this video tutorial I had another genius idea for you! Find a way to personalize these wooden signs by adding a name and you will have you a hot little selling item for your next craft fair!

So what are you waiting for? Check out this video to see how quickly and easily you can create these wooden signs!

I hope you enjoyed this tutorial and I would love to see all the creative ideas uses that you come up with for your appliques! Please share your ideas in the comments section and on Orchid and Bee's Facebook Page!
