This pattern uses Red Heart 100% Nylon Crochet Thread Size 18 with an H5mm hook. Can be made with Cotton or Acrylic. The pattern is easy to customize to the width and height that you would like.
You can use any Nylon Size 18 Thread. Guage is optional. You can easily adjust the height as needed and the length of the strap.
This pattern uses the “Honeycomb Mesh Stitch” and is created during the repeating Rounds 7 & 8. The tote bag, without the strap, is approximately 16 inches tall. It is 16 inches wide at the bottom and 14 inches wide at the brim. The strap is about 14 inches tall after it is attached to the brim of the bag. Three full-size towels, sunscreen, and sunglasses fit in my bag with room to spare!

5) Most patterns use a G4mm hook or H5mm hook with the exception of a couple that use chunky/bernat yarn like the chunky scarf
6) Appliques vary in size and range between 6 x 6 to 10 x 10. Sizes can be adjusted by going up or down in hook size. Size information is on the pattern. Contact me if specifics are needed.
