Pom Poms - Colors of Choice - make 2

Begin: For the pom poms I use a 4 x 4 x 2 rubbermaid container and I wrapped 3 strands of

yarn around the bowl 60 times. You could also use a dvd or anything similar to achieve this look. Next I cut through the loops at the top of the bowl and at the bottom. Lastly, I took a seperate piece of yarn and I wrapped around the top of the pom pom to create the look of a handle. I tied it off in a knot and then used hot glue around the knot for extra security squirted some hot glue under the handle threads to keep it from unraveling. You can trim the ends if needed at this point. Note: You could also use a rubber band to secure the top of pom pom (and even add a little hot glue if desired around the top of the bunched yarn) before wrapping the yarn around, that creates the handle. This portion you really do have creative freedom to achieve your desired look!
